How I work
Here at Clear Insight Counselling, I work with adults and young people aged 18+. This is usually face-to-face, although I also offer online and telephone counselling sessions. All therapy appointments last for 50 minutes and can take place either in the daytime or the evening (subject to availability).
Type of counselling I use
There are many different types of counselling used by therapists. The type I use is called integrative therapy.
This means I don’t use just one counselling model. Instead, I combine a variety of different approaches, including person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), among others.
By adapting my approach, and by using different tools and techniques for each person, you get the therapy that's best suited to your personality and needs.
I speak with people who are experiencing a wide range of issues. You may be considering counselling because you're experiencing stress, feeling depressed or anxious, or have low self-esteem and self-confidence. Perhaps you've been bereaved or are experiencing difficulties in a relationship. Whatever it is, I’m here to listen and help you move forward towards a positive future.
